Denny’s has announced it is closing its Kirkland, Wash., pet store and that it will end pet food distribution in the city.
The company said it will discontinue retail sales and pet food delivery starting Tuesday.
The store, which has been in Kirkland since the late 1990s, was shut down in the last week of August when it closed because of high snow and ice.
The store, located at 1634 East Broadway, will remain open, but will no longer sell pet food or pet supplies, the company said in a statement.
The Kirkland store will be replaced with a Pet Nutrition & Spa in the area, Denny, which will sell pet and cat supplies, Densys Pet Grooming and Pets for Pets.
The Pet Nutrition and Spa is expected to be open for business in January, according to the company.
